Synopsis

During the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, Wang Wenqing, a commander of the People’s Volunteer Army, visited the frontline to inspect the troops. While on the battlefield, he chanced upon his former comrade's foster daughter, Wang Fang, and immediately recognized her as his long-lost daughter from 18 years ago. However, he resisted the urge to reveal their relationship, fearing it would disturb Wang Fang. Instead, he encouraged her to learn from her elder brother. When Wang Fang was wounded and returned to the army, her foster father recounted the events that occurred 18 years ago, eventually revealing the identity of her biological father. Wang Fang was moved beyond words. Wang Wenqing then encouraged his daughter to carry forward the revolutionary tradition as they were finally reunited as father and daughter.
