Synopsis

In the era of the Northern and Southern dynasties, the Turk attacked the borders of Northern Wei. Hua Mulan, the daughter of Hua Hu, concerned about her sickly father and younger brother, bravely took her father's place in the army and disguised herself as her brother, Hua Muli. After a dozen years of fierce battles, Mulan rose through the ranks to become a skilled general. One fateful night, Mulan's heroic efforts resulted in the enemy being ensnared, and the war came to a victorious end. Upon returning home, the royal court recognized Mulan's remarkable achievements and appointed her as a minister, and she was personally visited by officials. As Mulan had taken off her armor and donned feminine attire, it was only then that the commander-in-chief learned of her true identity as a woman. He applauded her as a courageous and admirable heroine.
