Synopsis

Zhang Zhen and Miss Mudan, daughter of Lord Jin, had been betrothed since childhood, but Zhang Zhen became poor due to the death of his parents. The Lord ordered him to live alone in a grass hut in the mansion waiting for the cancellation of the engagement. Succuba Carp,, seeing how innocent and loving Zhang Zhen was, changed into Miss Mudan and came to meet him. The two fell in love, but the Lord found out and expelled Zhang Zhen from the mansion. The Lord reported this to the Emperor and asked Flamen Zhang to summon the heavenly soldiers to capture Zhang Zhen and Succuba Carp. Avalokitesvaram, the Goddess of Mercy, arrived and ordered them to retreat, and offered to send Succuba Carp to the South Sea to practice and become an immortal. However, Succuba Carp was willing to accept the pain and let Avalokitesvaram pull out her golden scales, turning into a mortal and living a life of joys and sorrows with Zhang Zhen.
